All in all - we greatly enjoyed this place & would go back in flash. Deluxe hotel with gorgeous garden. Our deluxe king room included a heating system, an iron and a radio. The host upon arrival was fantastic. The venue had indeed a superb location. Apart from that, The Fitzwilliam Gallery was 5 minutes' drive away. Breakfast was SATISFYING with plenty of delicacies.

We appreciated rooms and amenities here. After the arrival, we met owner, who was friendly. The view over the mountain was lovely. A good choice of delicious food in the restaurant.

A great selection of extra supplies: an iron, multi-channel TV and a sitting area. View from the window to the garden. Amazing staff who were always there to help. We thoroughly enjoyed to chill in the nearby Kittchen.

Room was good sized and met the purpose. We ate at Sun Inn Restaurant, which is only 200 m away, it suited our needs. Relaxing base for a city break in Hawkshead...
